We made it!!

We arrived Saturday night safe and sound. The Lord was very gracious in giving us an uneventful and quick trip. Our evening included having dinner, checking into the hotel and spending some time with the Longoria's.

We are working on getting more pictures up from Sunday.

This morning we were able to sleep in before going to Gospel Grace to worship. Because the church has grown so much, Gospel Grace now offers two services with a Gospel growth hour in between. The students' session was taught on obedience in the Christian life and then we all gathered back together for the 2nd service where Lukus Counterman taught on Ephesians 6: 10-13. After church, we headed to lunch and then headed up the hill to Park City for some team time. We toured the 2002 Olympic museum and then enjoyed the great outdoors.

After dinner, we headed back to downtown SLC and gathered together outside Temple Square to prepare our hearts and minds for the coming week. Victor gave a quick background of the Temple and reminded us of truth from the Word. Kelly challenged us to love the people of Salt Lake City and then we prayed together. We ended our time with some yummy ice cream and a time of prayer for one another.

Tomorrow morning begins a full week of Plant camp! We will be starting bright and early at Gospel Grace Church. We will be learning the history of the city as we get to take a tour of the Temple grounds, overlook the city from Ensign Peak and familiarize ourselves with the people of SLC. Our afternoon will be spent canvassing for Backyard Bible Club and our evening will be spent being taught by Will Galkin followed by a prayer walk throughout the city. Please be in prayer for our team as we have our first full day of Plant Camp.  Please also be praying that we would be bold in Gospel.
